I’ve made a particle plugin for After Effects, and I need help breaking it.

What you get

• A free lifetime license when the beta ends. Not a trial and not a cut-down version — the same plugin I’ll be selling.

• The group is small enough that what you say can change the plugin. I’d rather make what you need than what I thought you needed.

How it works

Each new build goes up on your own beta page, and I’ll email you when there’s one; the plugin’s Check for Updates button takes you straight there. You can reply to any of my emails and it comes to me. It runs until I stop finding things to fix, not until a date on the calendar.

What matters most is that you use it. Not on a schedule and not for a set number of hours — just often enough that you run into things.

No reports to write, nothing to record. When something breaks, a button in the plugin grabs what I need — your system, your After Effects version, every setting in the plugin, even the frame you’re on. Tell me what went wrong in one sentence and hit Send.

Motion design and editing since 2009, in Brazil and abroad. I work in After Effects every day, and I made this plugin because I wanted to use it myself.

There’s no studio or company behind this. It’s just me. That’s why I can reply quickly, and it’s also why I want people using it before it comes out.
